The following Overview serves as the official terms and conditions of the SecondTicket "GiVE" program (hereinafter referred to as GiVE).
PROGRAM SUMMARY GiVE enables SecondTicket fans to support youth sport, choral and theater organizations by donating credits earned through fan community participation. SecondTicket awards the cash equivalent of those credits as grants to organizations seeking funding for programs which enable participants to attend live entertainment, participate in organized competitions, or develop performance-based skills.

GRANTS Our first $500 grant was awarded in August, 2011. The next grant will be awarded in late 2011 or early 2012, the amount of which is conditional upon credit donation by SecondTicket fans.
ELIGIBILITY / WHO MAY APPLY Organized youth sports clubs, teams, choirs, or theater groups composed of children aged 18 or under
Organization must be endorsed by a person with an active SecondTicket fan account. There is no minimum amount of time for which the account must have been active prior to submission.
501(c)(3) status preferred but not required
AWARD CRITERIA Grant money must be used for one or more of the following:
Purchase of tickets to live entertainment (purchase from SecondTicket not required)
Entry fees for participation in a verifiably organized competition
Travel costs affiliated with a group outing
Equipment used in conjunction with performance such as uniforms, instruments, etc.
Consideration is given to applicants who best demonstrate the following:
Specific intended use (may be for multiple or recurring events)
Need (absence of other funding)
Greatest number of beneficiary participants
Extent of the SecondTicket fan's past participation in community contests (purchases not required)
APPLICATION PROCESS Applicants must submit the following:
An online form, completed by a registered SecondTicket fan, which outlines the grant's intended use, a 50 word organizational description and a 500 word program description.
A video or photograph featuring the organization's participants appealing to SecondTicket for funding. (60 second maximum video length: maximum three photographs.)
SELECTION PROCESS Applications to be judged on purpose, originality and creativity by the SecondTicket fan community
Previous fan community participation may be considered
Judging process may or may not include a public online vote OTHER TERMS Applicants acknowledge that they are authorized to act on behalf of the organization, including having the authority to upload and disseminate information and images about the organization. SecondTicket is not responsible for any consequences related to the unauthorized dissemination of any such information or images.
The organization is responsible for obtaining parental consent for use of any child image or likeness in any portion of application.
All images may be used by SecondTicket without obtaining additional parental permission.
Photo or video verification of proper award usage must be provided at conclusion of award's use.
SecondTicket reserves the right to amend or discontinue the program or any element thereof at any time.
